Outside of the fact that the Celts as a whole are a very meme civ with dubious historical adherence, that the practice of painting one's body with woad is attributed to the Britannii (who famously fought against the very AoE2 contemporary Julius Caesar) and the later Picts (not even an actual civ, just a generic Roman moniker) and that Braveheart came out 2 years before AoE2 released, nothing's wrong
I'm sure Sir William Wallace himself ran around naked, with his face painted half blue and looked just like Mel Gibson

Extremely easy fix
But then we'd have to rename the inexistent Saracen kingdom (alongside UU obviously), and then Persians to Safavids; and who can forget about those very medieval Teutonii who were slaughtered during the Cimbrian Wars (even before Julius Caesar)
My point is: people nowadays expect all historical vidya to be 100000% historically accurate, but AoE has ALWAYS used history as a dressing to convey designs and concepts. You could just rename Britons to "Wood Elves": give 'em pointy ears and a posh accent, and very little would change
