Not yet, but the final version of the game will be the next release. And that might be soon, since they locked down the discord for 'maintenance', which may be reorganizing it in preparation for a fully released game rather than a playtest-phase game.

Antioch fell in 1545, and Byzantium thereafter but sometime before 1573. They recaptured the Antioch ruins in 1559 and started to rebuilt it as New Anitoch due to it being the first bulwark against the forces of hell and thus symbolic. It isn't a last stand, it was the first organized stand against hell (by Christians, anyway). The armies that sacked Turkey were slaughtered in the forests of Wallachia in 1573. New Antioch's walls weren't complete until 1595, but Hell likely didn't have the manpower to recapture it regardless. It was still medieval, at this point in time, so armies need to travel slowly.

Because there black sea is in between them and the forces of hell, and that need to be conquered first. Maybe there has, we don't know every single event. That map only shows the current day of the setting. Like everyone else, though, it has at least suffered through the Corpse Wars since that affected everyone, and probably endless uprisings/raids.
