As AI exists now, its not good for much other than goonbait, or perhaps generating inspiration/references. There's basically no worthwhile with control mechanism with most commercial AI image generators. With stuff like Stable Diffusion, ControlNets kinda give you that control but even with that you will always, and I mean always, will need to have the painting skills to go over and clean up the artifacts, or truly make the image what you had in mind.
Anyway, AI won't replace shit, anything that it did replace already happened as the technology has been stalling since DALLE2/SD1.5, as we have well and truly entered the diminishing returns era.
