I wouldn't mind them if they were the cheap 40k version of the leviathan just like boxnaughts are the cheap 40k version of contemptors. The concept itself isn't bad. It's just that GW treats them as the new default even if it makes no sense and gave boxnaughts the shitties rules imaginable. Maybe they'll surprise us like they did with terminators and they make a new, faithful kit with good rules but I can't have faith in them.

How do I use dreadnoughts? They wanna be in melee to be able to use their fists and flamers but they are so slow. I could use them with lascannon and missile launchers to double up on guns but a ballistus is better in every way for that at only +5 points.
