I don't hate it, but it is severely compromised by korean incel culture and lack of interesting female characters and the 80% middle of the series being really boring and predictable. It has a cool twist at the end, but the anime hasn't gotten that far. Solo Leveling is unironically Reincarnated as a Slime but for edgy young men who are mad they haven't had sex yet.

The main difference is that Sun Jin Woo is a tiny manlet who becomes Chad and a darker tone, other than that it follows the same wish fulfillment mold that is well tread by plenty of other series. I mean he is literally cursed to work out every day, like come the fuck on, lol.
