They get a cut of your pay so they work hard to get you a job.
You work in whatever they assign you at, and after a month if you like the place and the boss likes your work ethic you let the contract run out so they can hire you directly, paying you less but you get a boos on your pay because you don't have to give a cut anymore to a middleman.
