It's all about how an animal lives and how they move naturally that lends themselves to domestication. It's why reindeer are domesticated but meece aren't. One lives in polygynous herds and circles predators, one is a lone violent monster.

They're just extremely prone to stress in that setting. And because they can jump so high the fencing needs to be extremely over the top. I can see why they're not farmed widely. The handling equipment looks strange too. It's like they need constant reassurance or they just play the capture myopathy card. Ones that have been bottle raised are really nice but you can't be rough with them like how you'd play games with a horse.

The mother was out in the yard grazing, and I let my dog out to chase it away. But the deer stood its ground and charged my dog. I thought the thing must be rabid or diseased or something so I went out to chase it away.

After I chased it away I found the fawn laying down hidden in some bushes. Now I feel awful.

ive been seeing it on /v/ too with deltarune, i hate the superficial deer lovers, that will say they like deer, but the ways in which they talk about and represent deer is from purely surface level squarely human based interpretations, that dont actually appreciate deer for being deer, but instead for what they can represent.

i recently saw some dumb retard make a shit joke about telling their therapist that they have an urge like deer to stand in traffic! omg lmao so funny haha! dumb motherfuckers.

After covid, there was a slow burn explosion in interest in zoophilia. One day it was pretty rare and it was doubtlessly going to be the rare freak gooning to latinas getting dogged or an /an/ poster that wanted to fuck a lion. The next day it seemed as if everyone had fucked an animal or thought about it, and "feral" was the second most popular thing among furries.

I think its because everyone started fucking animals during lockdown. Especially literally any furry with a dog. Post-covid was also an explosion in really weird, nonsensical dog hate. I think that is coming from people who fucked their dog and regretted it, or really wanted to fuck their dog but unironically got turned down.

Assuming its her fawn. Then Doe mothers do that to stimulate their fawn to poop, cuz they cant do so on their own. The other purpose is that eating their fawns poop, allows the fawn to remain relatively scentless, hiding them better from predators.

Honestly she might have babies in the area and if you keep running she might run up and knock you down when you're not looking. Best thing to do there would probably stop running for one, animals don't understand that humans will just run for fun/exercise. They literally think you're attacking something or being attacked. Once you stop running, you can either stand your ground and act big and loud to scare it off, punch it if you have to, or you can act like a beta cuck and kinda face it but look towards the ground and slowly back away.

im not sure i agree. especially because even deer that become super friendly will disappear for a couple weeks or months, they really value their freedom much more than even dumbass cats i think.
and there are a lot of deer which are still mostly friendly because of food rather than presence.
most friendliest deers were literally raised by humans from young.
thats why the rare friendships that can be developed are so special

If I so much as touch my car after the sun has gone down, it seems like there is a deer in the middle of the road, or one that just jumps in my way for no reason. I've taken to shooting them in the ass with an airsoft gun every time I see them on my property or out on the back roads leading to town, and I was wondering if the diminished presence I'm seeing means it's working or if it's just luck.

Domesticating a native animal that isn't an apex predator that will gladly kill its domesticated lessers is a great way to fuck the gene pool. Simply farming wild deer created CWD. Stop owning deer. Leave the deer alone. They exist to trim plants, disperse seeds and get eaten by wolves and cougars.

No, mostly fawns do this because theyre babies that like to play around with the limits of their activeness.
This doe is playing because her human friend is encouraging her and she has someone to play with.
If youve seen enough deer. Usually fawn twins play around like this, they often need somebody else to play with, not always but often.

Also kys, deer are NEVER harmful even when they are. Unless youre dealing with an elk, a deer is just either trying to get your attention or being territorial about their food or baby.
