I am not asking you to call Via nor am I asking you to call MasterCard, because having them reverse the decision wouldn’t fix the underlying problem that allowed CollectiveShout to sway the payment processors.

What I am doing is asking you to put the bare minimum effort into supporting legislation that could bar anything like this from happening again if it goes through, or at the very least get the foot in the door for actual change to happen. Do I think it will fix everything? No. Do I think it’s at least better than pissing and whining on an Internet forum? Yes.
