>China’s dominance over rare earths, particularly heavy rare earth elements (HREEs) such as dysprosium and terbium, remains near-absolute, accounting for over 90% and an even greater share of processing. These HREEs are geologically scarce, concentrated almost entirely in southern China and northern Myanmar, and are critical inputs for many industries of the future such as robotics, automation, advanced defense, electric vehicles, and green energy technologies.
So rare earth is ashually le rare. Invading China to get HREE is out of the question. How would you install a US friendly regime in Myanmar to extract HREE?
