The idea that boys are savage isn't traditional, it's a kike manipulation tactic that grew through the Victorian age (era where kikes exploited British arrogance to push anti-traditionalist ideologies like suffragism, Middle Ages myths, Spanish Black Legend, etc). For all of history until very recently both men and women have been seen as reasonable and shit like Lord of the Flies would have disgusted audiences if it came out just a century before when it actually did come out.

My Black Templars are more medieval knight ish than usual for Black Templars.
Sure they fanatically pray to the God Emperor. Sure they righteously smite heathens and heretics. Sure they uphold all of their vows. Sure they have utter disdain for the common peasantry.
But they also fervently fight and protect said peasants. They also do knightly arts like tourneys, and song, dances and ballad writing. They are gallant to fellow servants of the God Emperor.
I like to think my Templars to have all the traits of medieval knights, and not just the grimdark ones. Its not because Space Marines lack sex drives that they can't act as knightly, curteous gentlemen towards fellow pure and devout servants to the God Emperor. But still completely brutal to enemies.
