The Lore mythos of this game is literally just Aztec mythology and religion with a Victorian English aesthetic and plain copying of Lovecraft's work (with diversity being included).

That’s how i feel about this franchise. The creator’s art is beg/int level and yet there’s a degree of knowledge of fundies that shoe through even if he can’t execute them. I don’t know what it is about the style but when I play the game it becomes very endearing and enjoyable.
