I've sold 14 guns in the last 5 years and don't miss a single one of them; I wouldn't have sold them if I still had any affection for them. These are all strictly emotional investments to me so I consider the money spent on them irrecoverable because in order to recover that money I would have to give up the gun. So if there comes a time when I don't feel anything for a gun I consign it to a local auctioneer.
