I almost dropped the show during S4, it was pretty bad, but then out of nowhere the quality suddenly shot up during S5-7, easily becoming my favorite seasons of the show. I'm so glad I decided to press on, I probably would have never discovered the fandom and become so addicted to ponies otherwise because if a show doesn't keep my interest until the end I don't care enough to see what others think of it.
