same anon, i really don't think it's our fault but just society that is flawed. most people are so atomized nowdays that it's nearly impossible to make new connections as an adult. the only solution i can think of is that we need to find a place to come back to regularly that forces us to interact with people. could be a hobby place, a club. it used to be school when we were kids, but now we need to find something else. that's how you make connections. find community, and you'll find friends.
