hi taonon. nice to see you again. how are you doing?
>have you been listening to anything new recently?
not neccessarily... i've been relistening silksong soundtrack

i haven't listened to any of the songs from that or the first game. what's one you like?

yeah that stuff. the things middle aged women like to read about. my mom used to watch the horoscope every week when i was a kid

>the things middle aged women like to read about. my mom used to watch the horoscope every week when i was a kid
you might have guessed from my previous reply that i'm not exactly a huge fan. well, to summarize, i think judging a human character based on the month of birth is quite ridiculous. thankfully most people don't actually take this stuff seriously and don't treat it like gospel.

Hello Taonon!!!! So you made a thread today too, I guess that means you are feeling at least somewhat okay? Oh, just read that you're anxious for tomorrow, why is that? I'm doing okay I suppose, a bit nervous since it's my first day back at work I guess but things are going alright so far.

I haven't been listening to anything new, just the same old stuff as usual. I think I listened to this like 20 times on loop yesterday: youtube.com/watch?v=ivoYrzSCgFQ
No idea what they're singing but I really like the chorus.

>astral signs
Like the astrology stuff? I'm not sure... I'm kinda 50/50 on it. On the one hand it seems pretty silly, I mean why would star positions in the sky correlate with things happening in your life? And it definitely seems like one of those grifts for middle aged women. But on the other hand I do think it's pretty accurate sometimes, even if you take the Barnum effect into consideration, so it's hard to dismiss entirely. Also I think it's a good way to explore psychology, like even if it's all fake it still sort of provides a scaffolding that you can use to learn more about yourself. What do you think of it Anon? Do you believe in it? Are you interested in it because you like the stars? What's your sign if I may ask?

>you look really good

>i guess this one
humu, it's not bad at all, i like it. it's really cool when songs use sounds of items that normally wouldn't be used for music and make melodies with them
>judging a human character based on the month of birth is quite ridiculous
i agree with that. but i was more curious to know if anons think that what their sign says about them is true or not. have you ever read the qualities and flaws that your sign has? do you think they fit you?
>>83061947
>why is that
i've got 2 tests tomorrow and one is math... i dont expect to pass the math one honestly. i think i'll just fail the subject and have to go on with a debt in math the next year
>I listened to this like 20 times on loop yesterday
hm it's not a bad song. really unique. how do you even find this stuff? they seem so obscure and hard to find
>why would star positions in the sky correlate with things happening in your life?
oh i don't know, it's not any more believable than a omnipotent god in the skies controlling everything and yet billions of people believe that.
>What do you think of it Anon?
nothing in particular i guess. i don't think it's right to judge someone based on their astrological sign but i do think some descriptions it gives might be accurate occasionally. mostly because they always vary anyway... so they're bound to guess something right eventually. im a capricorn by the way.

yeah, it's my favourite, pizza tower also did something similar, and that particular ost was also one of my favourites
although admittedly bells *are* used to make music
>but i was more curious to know if anons think that what their sign says about them is true or not.
aye... my bad, taonon. i don't take this stuff seriously. but hold on, give me a minute.
>have you ever read the qualities and flaws that your sign has? do you think they fit you?
hmmm... scorpios tend to be loyal, passionate, intense, strong, independent. come off as aloof, secretive, detached and intimidating. even if it is true to my sign, it is certainly not true to me.
>aloof, secretive, detached

>no money though...
just pirate the game if you wanna try the mod out. i highly recommend *buying* pizza tower though, it's one of the gems on the market, remember to support small game devs if you can
no pressure though
> i think some traits that my sign has i also have irl though. apparently capricorns are really down to earth or something like that.
i'm fairly certain it's just a coincidence, same with me, but if you want to believe in that stuff, i'm not gonna stop you. i suppose stars do have a certain effect on our lives. look at the sun at least. not literally. please don't look at it with naked eyes.

It's ehhhhh... It's less about how life's treating me and more about how I'm treating my own life. By all standards I have a really good life but my laziness keeps making things go wrong. Hate it. Fuck procrastination. (Fuck myself for procrastinating.)
How are you?

Ah, that's right.. I'm surprised something like that still makes you anxious though, I would have thought you wouldn't care about it enough for that. I guess you are paying for this school so it is pretty important to pass your classes, but still. I suppose the anxiety doesn't make it any easier to study, does it? Try to do it a bit anyway Anonny, it would really suck to have to go into next year with a debt!!

>not a bad song
I'm glad you don't hate it desu! I don't think it's very unique compared to the usual stuff I listen to, it all sounds pretty similar. This one's a bit more high energy than most though. As for how I find them, it's usually by going through every video on a channel that has some good songs that I already know I like. Usually there's channels that are dedicated to uploading certain styles of music, so if there's a couple songs i like on them, there'll be more too.

>omnipotent god
Yeah, that's never been very believable to me either. I don't know how people can believe in such things, I wish I could as well but it just seems impossible for me. At least with astrology you could say that maybe being born at a different time of the year influences the baby somehow, like because the weather is different or something... though that's a stretch too.

>judge someone based on their astrological sign
Yeah.. there seem to be a lot of people who do that for some reason, and I'm really not a fan of it either. It's bad if astrology promotes that even more, though those people would probably find some other reason to judge people anyway so I don't think it makes much of a difference.

>because they always vary anyway
Yeah, that's what the Barnum effect is I think, basically writing some description that fits everyone because it's so generic. I've read some descriptions though and they really do seem to match better if it's the person's sign, at least on the cases I've seen. Maybe not all cases though, I don't remember anymore.

Capricorn huh... right I think you mentioned your birthday is in January before, unless I'm mixing it up with something else. my mother cut my finances due to me leaving university and she's extremely unhappy about me. yesterday i was on the verge of having a mental break during work shift because my university curator called my mother. you could probably guess how i'm feeling about all that. not very thrilled to say the least. otherwise, i'm still wageslaving away. i need to find a better job probably. this one pays peanuts.

It's already kind of ruined my life. My friends are getting master's degrees and moving away from their parents and going on trips on their own dime, while I'm stuck studying. I feel left behind. I really want a girlfriend but I'm not ready for one. No money to pay for dates, no place where I live alone to spend private time together. And nothing to think of my dreams of art and music. I haven't made any songs or art that I'm proud of because I never started putting in the time to really work on it.

no matter what anons tell you on other boards and in other threads, you still have the whole life ahead of you. they have given up, and that's also understandable. however, some of us still have hope. no matter what you think, any hole can be climbed out of, and almost any situation can be solved. unless you're in medical debt and live in america, good fucking luck with that. i believe in you, anon. try your best.

stars are real cool, i've always had a dream of exploring the deep space when i was a kid. the dream shattered when i grew up and realized we're never going into space, at least most of us won't. but i still like stars and space. one of my favourite things, maybe we'll one day be able to start humanity from scratch someplace else. although it would be preferable to instead just. befriend earth instead and stop beating it to death.

>hows the normal life there?
it's going okay. as normal as it can be, i don't think much changed. it's the same as it was, hmm... let me check... 3 years ago? of course, it probably depends a lot on the city, and some are more affected by attacks than others. you likely won't see troops killing and raping people, but there's a certain chance of a bomb dropping on your head. still, take this information with a grain of salt. i'm a privileged citizen of the second capital of russia.

Presents are sort of a traumatic thing for me lol. Giving them is terrifying as well because what if the other person doesn't like it, or what if they like it but next year I can't give anything as cool? It's such a huge pressure to give presents.
