I'm legitimately curious as to who will even be added into the next game because it feels like they've just plain run out of non-third party characters outside of a few stragglers among the commonly requested characters from the Brawl days onward. The newest Fire Emblem Lord and Gen 10/11 shillmon are inevitable and I'm fully expecting a Deltarune/Undertale character to make it in unless Toby Fox gets outed as a sex pest and/or pedo, but who else? The wheelchair basketball robot guy?
