I really love chapter 3, it's surprising to me how many people think 4 is so much better. The music is way better, the Shadow Mantle, Roaring Knight and Tenna bosses are individually way cooler than Gerson and the Titan combined (Jackenstein is about on par though), if the chapter didn't have such easily missable shit then I would be baffled with liking 4 over 3.

I preferred Chapter 3 to Chapter 4
Tenna is a fun character, his minigames/microgames are fun, the Zelda game was fun, having to replay all of Chapter 3 was not fun THOUGH
Chapter 4 was a complete tonal shift, probably on purpose. There was still funny stuff like "I'm old!" and YOUR TAKING TOO LONG but it didn't have a persistent funny-guy antagonist like Chapters 1-3 did.
Overall I'm pleased with the new stuff though
