Taking ot out of the temple doesn't kill you. They had Henry Jones drink from it and he was all better then they took the cup out and he was still fine. All the removal of the cup did was destroy the temple it was housed in. But in theory you could escape the crumbling temple with the cup still in tow. So the traps were there tmas a way to be like, hey, you made it this far and now you're trapped and if you try to leave bad things will happen.

Too tired huh? Then I'll have to take advantage of this opportunity to do some mischief. It's been going alright, got some significant news in regards my late older brother, got jnto a big argument over pay at my job since they underpaid me and insisted that I was mistaken (we resplved it, but I don't know if they will reimburse me the owed wages since it wasn't like, they shorted my hours, it was that they hired me at a soecific rate then paid me under that rate), been slutting it up which is always fun, and now I'm working on a painting which is driving me to despair. All in all not bad. Yourself?

The problem is I'm going to slow. I'm hesitant to follow the directions the painting is giving me and it's punishing me for it. I have to constantly remind myself that the painting makes itself.

I wouldn't put it anywhere near me. The weirdo freaks can keep their urchin all to themselves. Some blue cheese is good.
