Well of course, it is designed to tug on the heart strings after all. How else will an artist ensure you keep coming back for more? This daemonic construct requires emotional manipulation and nothing does that better than preying on the weaknesses (our sins and insecurities) of humanity. You could theoretically make a song about anything but how many will listen to you sing about beautiful birds over immoral sexual relationships?

I don't as I said it can get way more filthy. The thing is pop is actually one of the least disgusting because it gets tested by the public not to exceed current moral bounds. But even if I did, pop/rap/etc is what the vast majority of people listen to so it would be wise to warn people against this popular drug.
