Harland's clearly tainted by his decades in Hollywood but Sam is equally creepy, like he lives in a bubble that has made him completely out of touch because he relies entirely on his bootlicker handlers to tell him if he's funny. Plus I dont get the sense that Harland is a sociopath/cult leader type that I get with Sam.
