I think that the twist is gonna be that Phyre is actually a random vampire that they found some way to mentally condition to think she was this legendary vampire "The Nomad", and somehow manipulated through alchemy to feel like a higher generation than they actually are. The whole thing has Manchurian Candidate/Black Ops vibes. That doesn't explain Fabien, though, or the fact in one of the trailers it looks like Fabien drips blood into Phyre's coffin to wake her up. Because we don't know who Fabien actually is, just what he larps as, there's some critical context missing.
