one day he will decide it's boring to just relax in the Abyss forever. Hornet won't visit frequently enough, he'll fondly reminisce about how fun and exciting it was to ransack a kingdom and bring everything in it to heel. and then he'll go do it again

If Silksong ever gets some kind of boss rush mode (though that would open up a can of worms of its own) would you want Hornet to fight him?

By far. Hornet is a fairly strong royal mutt. The knight is like a pureblood royal augmented by void powers into becoming a magical demon that becomes pic related by the end of his game.
