I don't care for nintendo games but I've got nephews that are addicted to roblox and there's a difference, trust me. The shit they play is just completely devoid of meaning or goals. Getting an ipad kid to play and enjoy a game like SM64 for instance would be next to impossible. They're not capable of using their brain for more than 5 seconds at a time before they need to get back to something where they can zone out. Dialogue, story, puzzles, and literally any challenge or friction at all will just frustrate them and make them instantly quit. Playing nintendo games as a little kid was a natural stepping stone on your way to more difficult and involved video games, playing roblox as a kid is a dead end street that trains you to not use your brain or push yourself at all.
