The real scandal of Epstein is how easily he corrupted the US attorney office by hiring half of them so due to interest conflicts they always had to hand off cases and could never prosecute him. Kenneth Starr, Dershowitz, and the rest of Epjews lawyers were able to do this very legal scam for decades. Epstein was always tipped off to raids too by Clinton's aides back in the 90s that guy 'Sandy Berger' tipped him off in 2006 too.
His lawyers also hired ex Miami PD as an army of PI's to harass all the victims into not testifying. These guys even harassed the FBI it was a full court press by Epstein's enormous lawyer suite if you tried to prosecute him and just like he knew all the loopholes for tax evasion he knew the loopholes for prosecution.

The realization of this means the entire DoJ is vuln to manipulation by the wealthy and noone wants to fix that
