castle nut was the cheap ass one that came with the PSA lower parts kit, its nitrided. shit finish too, you can see the milling marks pretty prominently. i hate it but i'm not really using that lower as a clone build, i've got proper phosphated colt parts to put on an intlmilco lower whenever i get around to buying one
upper is an old bushmaster 1/9 twist, found it for dirt cheap at one of the stores that bought out a shitload of guns and parts from the bushmaster/remington bankruptcy. kind of like a fluted colt FBI profile almost, it's pretty light. weighs the same or less than my 10.3" upper
