Another thing you can do is get something like a bobro swivel mount or a scout pro body so you can swivel it closer to the 11 o clock position and put a qd socket there. The geissele/alg sling swivels stick out enough that it clears the light with minor rubbing on an mcel rail so it should definitely clear with a thicker quad rail

When teaching a grill how to shoot, her comfort is paramount to overcoming poor stance, grip or trigger pull

0) Go over the safety rules. Yeah, there's four, but I keep it simple for beginners: keep the muzzle pointed downrange at all times and finger off the trigger until ready to fire

These are pretty good points. Building their confidence, overcoming the noise/fear and correcting early bad habits all contribute to them becoming good shooters. I've taught 3 females to be pretty decent with pistol, especially if they do any physical labor and have the hand/wrist strength sorted out it's just a matter of small corrections. Red dots help this process as well, since dry fire can help them correct any pulling going on

am that anon and I do frequently wear fishing shirts outside in the summer for that reason lol. It's fine if it's under about 65-70% humidity, over that I turn into a fire hydrant. Moisture wicking only has so much capacity and at a certain point when the ambient humidity is too high basically stops working entirely. Body sweat is fine I just ignore it, it's when there's sheets of sweat constantly running down your face it starts to be a problem. Have to go full on rambo with something wrapped around my head.
