0) Go over the safety rules. Yeah, there's four, but I keep it simple for beginners: keep the muzzle pointed downrange at all times and finger off the trigger until ready to fire
1) Tell her to plant those feet the way that feels best. If she chick leans, have her bend a knee or two [her spine will naturally correct for this]
2) Hand her an unloaded pistol for "dry fire" practice at the actual target then and there, make sure she knows about the trigger "wall"
3) Give her a magazine loaded to capacity [weight alleviates recoil] but agree in advance how many times she'll fire. Three rounds are easy to keep track of but of course let her fire a longer "string" if she's comfortable
