Another thing you can do is get something like a bobro swivel mount or a scout pro body so you can swivel it closer to the 11 o clock position and put a qd socket there. The geissele/alg sling swivels stick out enough that it clears the light with minor rubbing on an mcel rail so it should definitely clear with a thicker quad rail
