Literally reminds me of a good argument from Trigun where Vash and Knives (Seriously why the fuck did they name the kid Knives and NOT expect him to be fucked up?) are with Rem and a butterfly gets caught in a spiders web. Vash is worried for the Butterfly and Knives just kills the spider but Vash wanted both of them to live. Knives knew that was just naive thinking since it would essentially mean starving the spider to death which is far worse than simply killing it instantly and that saving only the butterfly and turning a blind eye to any other bug the spider catches is just hypocrisy.
Muzan's natural disaster comparison doesn't apply since a natural disaster doesn't choose it's victims and also has no control over it's action.
He would have a much better argument if he said "The beef used to make your lunch, did that cow not have children who loved her? If the cow in the field knew what you intended for it's children, would they not want you dead? We at least allow for your autonomy and don't keep you caged for our benefit and we even go out of our way to target undesirables. Do YOU go out of your way to only eat the undesirable animals? We can only eat humans and nothing else, do we deserve to die because it happens to be you we prey upon and not a weaker more defenseless animal?"
