The only issue i see here is that it is obvious that it has substandard or non existent fire suppression systems and that the tank Commander (and thus his dead crew) was wearing flammable uniforms.
It isn't a horrible tank design given what they have to work with in terms of human capital however i really think they should pay more attention to the crews.
The idea of throwing out very high cost equipment with sub par operators makes no sense, you are wasting good (and expensive) equipment and good men for nothing of value.
