Same as it ever was. I believe that he thinks his bogeyman who "hates" Remake (he has never said anything bad about Remake) is a "yoshicultist" and that is the reason why he does this.

He only uses XIII as a shield and as a scapegoat to misdirect from who he truly is.

If we were more autistic, or cared enough, we could probably go back through all of the deleted posts that ever responded to Jimbo and deduce who the Final Fantasy VII detective is that way. I'd bet money it's someone who first interacted with that account on Reddit. I don't know if it's possible to track down accounts of deleted Reddit posts though, because I don't use Reddit.
