Well the longsword has the 3rd(?) best range in the game, if you allow the felling axe (Shortest range in the game, less than daggers) ontop of you, I would hope you would lose. Try moving backwards. Thats like claiming the longsword sucks because you died to an archer before you caught him.

I really want to like the game, but i dont want to play another scenario of everyone 1 hitting everyone with bingo
