The point of videogames is to provide and escapism from a capitalism distopia nightmare that the elites created for us in order to farm us and our productivity in order to live a carefree life and do whatever the fuck they want to us, the peasants. In thiese condition , the escapism is your only option because an average citizen or even a community of citizens are utterly powerless compared to the elites, and there is literally no chance for us to change anything by any means.
