Somebody definitely had a hate-boner for Asura lol. You don’t look at a man who used the big form to protect his home planet and think he would then destroy it and his daughter/billions of innocent on it. I almost wish it was kept in so people can see how much Asura would’ve been character assassinated. DB should be thanking DA for saving them from an even worse disaster.

I’d have rather they kept the storyboards and portrayed Asura as a brainless hypocritical psychopath who’ll gladly destroy the planet his own daughter is on than the half-assed ‘respect’ horseshit they ended up putting out.
It was clear Death Battle was just giving a giant middle finger to Asura’s Wrath and anyone who liked it. Them just embracing it would have at the very least felt more honest.
And it’d have at least been shorter than “Asura humiliation ritual for 6 minutes.”
