the lordship keyword i imagine as your commander making a pact with you, the player, giving you some major power but causing you to lose the game. i think the concept is really cool and flavorful, here are a couple other examples i came up with (not just for Ranni)
>Lordship -- (0): Add 10 (R)(U) in any combination into your mana pool. Until end of turn, keep this mana through all steps and phases. On your end step, you lose the game. Activate only once per game, as a sorcery, and only during your turn.
>Lordship -- (0): Until end of turn, all creatures you control gain infect (It deals damage to creatures in the form of -1/-1 counters and to players in the form of poison counters.) On your end step, you lose the game. Activate only once per game, as a sorcery, and only during your turn.
>Lordship -- (0): Create 10 tapped meteorite tokens. On your end step, you lose the game. Activate only once per game, as a sorcery, and only during your turn.
>Lordship -- (0): Until end of turn, your opponents can't cast spells or activate abilities. On your end step, you lose the game. Activate only once per game, as a sorcery, and only during your turn.

Guys, I'm beginning to think Toby Fox, Reddit Furry, is a better writer than Hidetaki Miyazaki
