I think you're reading some of these posts too literally. Some anons were talking about desiring the experience of boyhood while others want to go back to a time where friendship felt more intimate and vulnerable. It just so happens that a lot of these feelings correlate with boyhood and boy friendships that are not seen in adulthood or even adult relationships.
