Because I think that's forming your religion around faith in a fictional character that doesn't exist unless you talk about it is never going to result in true enlightenment or knowledge of divinity. Because of the reasons I mentioned. A lot of people find their religion there, but I don't. If you think that's all religion can possibly be, than I'm sorry that that's the limited ceiling of your perspective. I think there are things and a real God specifically that exists beyond the opinion or written word or shared human opinion. I don't think that God has to be a vague intangible faith-based figure that you never actually interact with until after you die. It doesn't have to be that way, so I choose what I see the better option.
Praise SOL If you're not aware of the connection between the old majorities son worshipping religion of Rome and the new church that Constantine formed I understand how that can happen, a lot of people aren't up to date. But it might be something to look into. One certainly came before the other.
