Separate the U-235 from the U-238. Have two or more pieces that smash together the U-235 with a small cannon configuration, and hold it together with a massive shell long enough to destroy a small city.
Bombs made from Plutonium-239 (which can ONLY be created in a nuclear reactor) are a little more complicated. They require a shell configuration, an "igniter" that produces neutrons, and various neutron reflectors to make the process work better.
"H-Bomb" is even more complicated. Starting with a Uranium / Plutonium bomb inside a large heavy canister filled with foam. The foam plasma compresses a canister of deuterium + tritium and/or lithium-deuteride which sprays neutrons back at the original reaction making it at least 10x stronger. Also, making the outer shell from U-235 will reflect the neutrons back (another boost) while the 235 itself adsorbs (some) neutrons and breaks apart releasing even more energy (yet another boost).
