just do heroics to learn routes and try new things. heroics are also very good for learning typical problematic points. since population in heroics is even dumber than your typical "+2 blast run", you will know all the spots, where:
- people asspull,
- people cannot into skips,
- people cannot into interrupts,
- fucking pets will pull half the dungeon, etc etc.
i always run mazes+ with an assumption that my party is a set of complete dumb braindead degenerates who will fuck-up on each and every step. makes life and planning easier from that point onwards.
have low expectations = you will not be disappointed and stressed. have high expectations = you are the source of your own problems.
real problems start when you start assuming that your maze pug is same as mlg r1 chinks and will do everything perfectly.
also, once you get used to it - after couple of pulls you will be able to tell if your pug is actually a group of braindead fucktards or if they know a bit on how to play the game.
and one more thing. when you are playing with pugs from lfg - you really want to prio your defenses and survivability over everything else. it is only with good static comps you can start worrying about your damage as a tank.
