Let's bring up some great /a/ scanlation thread episodes by the way:

>“My heart isn't ready.” is completely the same as “I'm not mentally ready.”, the former absolutely does not sound considerably more floaty and dramatic than the latter.
>“〜に決まっている” means “I've decided that ...”
>“私が愛せない子” is not grammatically ambiguous
>By translating “この手で” to “With these hands”, you unlock the true depths of Japanese culture
>“お父さん” unlike “お兄さん” has only one translation that doesn't differ based on context, I think that because all I watch is virginware where no parents are ever around and I totally missed how common it is for spouses to address each other with it for instance

Kek, the intersection of bad Japanese and everlasting permavirginity is such a sight to behold indeed.

>The virgin manga-English translator continues to translate “心” to “heart”
>Despite definitions in monolingual dictionaries defining it as the seat of human intellect and emotions, clearly implying “mind”
>Despite googling it in Japanese giving mostly pictures of brains and psychology tests
>Despite it really never being used ever to refer to an actual heart where “心臓” is always used
Why does he continue to do this? Does he cling to his fake “Japanese culture” so much that was just created by bad translations from translators as bad as he is? Truly it is a great mystery.
