My best friend is Vietnamese and I'm highschool his parents had this tiny tank with a solo beta fish. They NEVER changed the water and the tank didn't even have a filter. We did a "Spartan fish challenge" after watching 300, just kept introducing new beta fish from the pet store. His beta was so vicious we'd throw a captive in before school and come home to it floating on top with it's fins all bit off. After he won his fifth battle we decided to give this fish royal treatment as sole survivor and changed the tank water with fresh room temperature clean shit. Little fucker died 2 days later. RIP Spartan beta.
