I used Nobara, I thought it was great (but in reality KDE was great)

it's all fun until you want to play a new game, some old games wont work without hiccups so now you gotta experiment with proton builds and what not
you can't just install an app and run it

so all and all, Linux will never be "out of the box" experience, and it somehow did, it's after a decade or so
