It's honestly kind of depressing the direction it took. The kid literally draws eyes on his eyelids to sleep in class and then has to see Banner crumble to dust by the end of that year. I guess its meant to show he can handle it but still, it's like watching Gohan job to the androids in the Trunks special and Trunks losing it.
