Well it's not happening now. Nintendo as they are now will not take these games, they won't even let Neptunia through and have been banning and censoring games left and right since late 2023.

There may be life left in it... if there was anywhere to release it. Nintendo won't take them, Sony won't take them, Microsoft won't take them, Steam won't take them, even GOG likely won't take them. Takaki was right on the money when he said the censorship wouldn't stay contained to Playstation. The environment has only gotten more and more hostile to Senran Kagura and its kind of game over time. You now even have payment processors forcing storefronts as large as Steam to delist hundreds of games at the behest of political pressure groups, they will absolutely come after Senran Kagura if it starts getting any traction again.
