About the reasons: As i understand it currently, this world was originally a light only creation (biblical Eden) but in a world that only contains light the evolution of souls is very slow, there"s nothing to challenge the to encourage growth.
To change this, darkness was introduced, and with that the freedom to choose. Darkness is different from evil. Evil is unworthyness, feeling unworthy of Love and Creation.
The method of introducing darkness to an originally light only world is very painful.
The souls why interact with the darness are feeling inferior compared to light because darness was an addition to this world by force.
This inferiority makes darkness unworthy and therefore evil.
The only way to introduce darkness into souls that are made from pure light is "torturing" them to unworthyness, after this these souls can spread the darkness further.
No matter what happens in this density it has no consequences anywhere else in the universe, unworthyness is an illusion, nothing really matters here in this dimension. If the souls that are "playing" here in this desity knew the truth about the universe, evil would disappear immediately.
People are waking up to this fact, that is why you see a lot tof script breaks nowadays.
Everything is love and you are wothy of Creation and Love no matter what you did in the past!
