Well I wouldn't call it /co/ but my point is that we got a lot of shows with decent to strong continuity. And while we all know the story by now and hindsight yadda yadda, you have to remember at the time we weren't really looking to make the distinction. So I wouldn't pretend to try and call Starblazers or Robotech /co/ they were still serialized shows that aired to kids and both were heavily dramatic.
