All these retard had to do was put a single (one, uno, oдин) tester to finish a single map and see his reaction. And since you already changed the default bindings, then just add a special "space can close intermission regardless of key binds" condition which would be like 2 lines of the code.
But as we all know (see previous decade of Nightdive remasters) they never test their games before the release, only after.

I agree that these players are still dumb but YOU'RE RELEASING A GAME IN 2025 HOLY SHIT, they players ARE dumb, it's expected, there's NO way around it. And not just a game, but the remaster of an old game that can be played perfectly fine if you know what you're doing, it was made so the new (dumb) players could play it, it's the most basic target market research that even the most purple haired diversity hire should be able to figure out.
