Overwatch especially kills me because the whole "yayy we're all friends!" thing is so at-odds with the gameplay being killing each other.
they don't even bother with the bare-minimum "it's bloodsport!" framing that would be enough to shut up the bit of my head that bothers to ask "why is everyone shooting each other?" in a game where everyone's so friendly to each other.
