Why would morally upright people be using souls and signing pacts with eldritch entities for personal power and advancement?

Ivy is nice but also a vigilante murderer, just that she murders bad people. The only actually good guy is Warden because he plans to Summon the Patron and immediately assassinate them while they're vulnerable from being newly summoned. And maybe Shiv actually, he's an asshole, but he's just a monster hunter, so, maybe he's a good enough guy? Then again, even Shiv and Ivy are willing to unleash an eldritch God upon the world in return for personal gain, so maybe actually the only actually good person who cares about the good of Mankind is Warden.

Provided you understand his weaknesses, he's fucking great at pretty much everything. His kit is all support, but he's also a menace on gun builds. His upgraded grenades heal teammates, his ice beam pisses off enemies and his ult gives heals and cucks lash's.
Highly recommend maxxing ice path and buying fleetfoot + rescue beam to fly to caught out teammates and evac them. They'll love you long time

Good balance between offense and support. Her stone form can cancel stuns. Can also disable Dynamo's ult, which is really good. Her ult can evac teammates even better than the Kelvin combo can. I recommend only picking one role or the other, though. Every time I try to build a balanced Ivy, I eat shit.

Maybe the hardest to play. His only hard support ability is the cube, which is fantastic and cucks enemies from kills if you can get to your teammate in time. Rescue beam + cube used to be a very popular combo, but I don't see it ran too often now. His puddle punch can shoot teammates out of danger if you're good enough with it.
>Dynamo
Has a healing aura and can cancel stuns for both yourself and allies using quantum entanglement - great against most ults. His black hole is the best ult in the game, besides lash's.

A mix between TF2 heavy/engineer - Places sentries and deals solid damage with her minigun. I consider her support since she has a place-able healing aura, her spectral wall can trap/cuck enemies and she eats shit when singled out. Unless you're running a gun build, she gets raped in 1v1s

The movement is fun and the map encourages and rewards you for moving well. The objectives are concise and designed in a way that games do not drag on past 35 minutes if you know what you're doing. The hero designs that aren't Neon Prime leftovers/unfinished are pretty good. Itemization is intuitive in a way that I never really felt about Dota.

I don't really mean about whether a build is viable. I meant that it's very easy for me to understand Gun/Spirit and all the auxiliary stats like movespeed/resists in Deadlock. It's more intuitive to me to know exactly what each stat is doing and decide what items would be good for each hero.

I don't know if I'm just a tard, but I always had a hard time translating STR/AGI/INT and armor to concrete bonuses in Dota. Also Dota items always had confusing recipes to me and I would always trip myself up on how to progress my build throughout the game.

It is an objective-based game. Learn to play objectives then pick heroes and builds that work for you. It's perfectly fine to play turret McGinnis or healer Kelvin if you don't have aim skills.

Has any build of this game implemented Tower Fortification in any way? I know they probably want faster games than the usual Dota 2 slog but sometimes it really feels like Guardians are made out of tissue paper. The T1s require a lot of freedom to take out up until people have a few items, after which if you're fighting 1v2 or your lane is empty for 15 seconds your tower just gets pushed over. T2s are healthy/dangerous enough that they're easier to defend, but T3s are completely worthless. You breathe on them and they fall over, it's so hard to keep people out of base in a losing game.

This game is valves biggest problem, but not how you might think. They made an appealing moba with shooting and movement mechanics, but how do they get a mainly league of legends familiar world interested in complex dota itemization and macro. How do I learn to farm better? I've been playing shooters all my life so all the last hit/denying/harassing shit is pretty easy to me, however when we get into the mid I just crash and burn.
I need to push my lane, but also help other lanes, and also farm the jungle, but also try to steal theirs, get boxes and slot machines. Is it worth joining teamfights I consider mostly useless? Oeople will bitch if they all die while I'm not helping them... Am I really necessary there when I could just splitpush and secure some towers? When it's a good time to farm and when to start fighting, etc etc.

Game is quite hard. Either the other team deathballs at the midgame mark with extremely good spirit damage or they build insane health with tanky characters and you can't damage them. It really comes down to 'which of their characters has the better players, the tanks or the carries?' and it's just a coin flip. I guess there's intuition at play if you play 1000s of games but it brings to mind how mobas aren't really skill based unless you're in a premade

I haven't played the game but if its even remotely like dota with 1/2/3/4/5 roles then if you're playing position 1 (hard carry) you should only go help a team fight if you think you can make a difference and secure kills because gold equivalent is your number 1 priority
If you're playing the 5 role (hard support) then its your job to be a warm body to keep your carry alive by any means necessary
Position 2, 3 and 4 are a sliding scale between those extremes
