I never played the pen and paper RPG, only the previous video game, but isn't the whole point kinda being a vampire without being seen by the public? How you would not want to let loose so you don't lose yourself to the beast? I always thought it would require some method acting, like taking the stairs or the elevator because that's what normal people do, that's what the beast wouldn't do.
