I'm disabled. Mostly mental issues, but a couple (relatively minor but still impactful) physical ones as well.
It makes it extremely difficult to focus on the kinds of games I want to finish. Longer narrative focused games become a thing I have to hyperfixate on to get any progress in (which kills me, because they were some of my favorites when my condition wasn't too bad). Roguelikes and Roguelites became some of the only shit I can reliably play, alongside the occasional MOBA (high variance, generally low spinup time, Roguelikes I can pause or just leave running if my attention flits to something else).
It's been...rough. I want to be able to sit there and play longer experiences like I used to, but at best I manage that when the stars fucking align once every couple months.

Also autistic. I don't think it should be that hard, but "people" get caught up in the narratives that surround them, often looking no deeper nor thinking about what giving an inch will mean until they start taking a mile.
